Senior Zaiyahn Ornelas is now a four-time state wrestling champion (the 39th in Nebraska history) in four different weight classes (106, 113, 120 and 126) at two schools (Creighton Prep and Wilber-Clatonia). The Husker wrestling commit also helped the Junior Jays repeat with a Class A state team title this season.

Norris guard Evan Greenfield scored 19 points to help the top-ranked Titans earn a 66-57 road win at Elkhorn North on Friday night. The victory improved Norris to 19-2 overall, while the Wolves dropped to 14-5 after the loss. Check-out the High School Report page for more basketball coverage.

Bennington girls’ basketball Coach John O’Connor will lead his undefeated Badgers (23-0) into District B-2 action this Wednesday at home. High school boys and girls district and sub-district basketball tournaments will be taking place all over Nebraska for the next two weeks.
